Film Review "Red Riding Hood"

Before i get started yes this is a film about a girl wearing a red cape that says "What big teeth you have"

Red Riding Hood is a film set in the medieval village of Devilhorne built on the edge of a dark forest.Every full moon the village is set upon by werewolf. To help with the fight against the monster they call for the help of a Father Solomon (Gary Oldman, Harry potter). The villagers start to distrust every one and end up accusing a young women called Valerie (Amanda Seyfried, Mean Girls). With out telling you too much about the story or the ending one thing leads to another and there's a finale show down with the wolf and a twist ending.

"Red Riding Hood" was from the same director that brought us Twilight Catherine Hardwicke and there's is definitely a Twilight-esk theme to the film. Its very dark film with violent deaths, but an underlying romantic story to it. The actors are very fitting for this film, Ive only ever seen Amanda in Mean Girls but she has definitely come a long way since then and is a very good actor. Ive never heard of Shiloh Fernandez but he definitely brings a since of darkness to the film and is definitely an actor to watch out for.

The film its self i thought was very interesting and kept me at the edge of my seat to find out what happened next. The acting was phenomenal and the writing was just as good in my eyes this fast paced action romantic film is definitely worth a watch and i would recommend this to any one that loves werewolf films.
