Film Review "Captain America"

If you haven't guessed by the name of the title this film review is going to be about Captain America: The first avenger (long title). Captain America is a film about a weak young man called Steven Rogers (Chris Evans), Steve is denied his chance to fight in World War II, but is found by a Dr. Abraham Erskine (Stanley Tucci) and is given the chance to fight if he signs up for a project called The Super Solider project. he does and goes though with the project and he turns in to Captain America how ever the celebrations are called to a halt when a German spy blows up the room and run away after killing the Dr. This gives Cap a reason to test out hes new found strength and gives chase.

Since the Dr is dead there is no chance of them ever making another Super Solider so decide that Cap is not worth putting in the front lines. When Cap realises that hes best friend has been taken captive by the Nazis he runs of to try and get him out. In the process of rescuing hes friend Bucky (Sebastian Stan) he has a short confrontation with The Red Skull (Hugo Weaving) where he announces that he was also worked on by the Dr and he plans to kill the human race. after a few fights comes the finale showdown with the Red Skull on his air plane where Cap and The Red Skull fight for control of the Cosmic Cube. After the battle and the Red skull has been defeated the Captain has no way of stopping the plane so he decides to crash the plane in the North pole to save the lives of every one else but kill him self.

Then the captain wakes up in a hospital with is now the present day, he flips out and runs out of the building to find that he is in new york and every think has changed, then Nick Furry shows up (Samuel L. Jackson)

This film was made really well and is defiantly worth watching. the director ( Joe Johnston) really worked well on making this film as good as it should of been. Where most Comic-book films stray away from the original text this one stayed true to the books and really made Cap come alive. Chris Evans as Captain America was a risky move since he had already been in a Marvel film but it turned out he made a really good Cap.
I would recommend this film for any one that loves comic-book films also for all the people that are waiting for the Avengers Film to come out this is a must.
